How to Get There

Catching the Dart to Howth

If you’re traveling from Dublin city center, the easiest way to get to Howth is by taking the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) train from Connolly Station. The journey takes around 25 minutes, and trains run every 10-20 minutes, depending on the time of day.

Alternatively, you can take the 31/a or 31/b Dublin Bus from Lower Abbey Street, which will bring you directly to Howth village. This option takes around 40 minutes and is a bit slower than the train.

If you’re driving, take the M50 northbound and then follow signs for the R105 to Howth. There’s ample parking available, but it can get quite busy during peak season.
